Transfer Student Orientation

All admitted transfer students to the University of Arizona (UA) and the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) must attend a Transfer Student Orientation Program.  During this orientation, you will meet with your academic advisor, discuss your class schedule, and learn about college resources.

SBS Transfer Student Orientations consist of both a College Meeting and a meeting with your academic advisor. During the College Meeting, you will learn about graduation requirements, college resources, and how to use UA systems to register. After the College Meeting, you will meet with your major academic advisor and create a schedule of classes for the next semester.

**Note: You must complete all steps within your NextSteps Center (, most importantly the Transfer Student Academic Preview (TSAP), in order to register for a SBS Transfer Student Orientation.
